Watch 81st Academy Awards or 2009 Oscars Awards live and free on February 22, 2009, Sunday night, on ABC Network! The program will start at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT and will be held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The event will give awards for the 2008 best films.

The 81st Academy Awards will be hosted by Hugh Jackman, from the movie “Australia.”

The film got 13 nominations. “Slumdog Millionaire” which won all their nominations in Golden Globe Awards got 10 entries in the Academy Awards. Meanwhile “Batman The Dark Knight” and “Milk” have 8 nominations, 5 nominations for “Frost/Nixon”, “Doubt”, and “The Reader”, 3 nominations for “Changeling” and “Revolutionary Road” and 2 nominations for the “Frozen River”, “Iron Man”, “Wanted”, “The Duchess” and “The Wrestler“.
